Corrected that with surgery in August 1994...Blew her ankle out in the qualifying round at the 1996 Olympics: tore a ligament, collapsed her arch...Only the second four-time winner of a women`s Pac-10 championship...Earned degree in biology at UCLA...Plans to enter medical school after her competitive career is over...Models in her spare time for the Click Agency...Has had national exposure in a Fruit of the Loom commercial: "I am in my underwear" and in a commercial for the TV Guide channel, as well as features in Rolling Stone, Vogue, Glamour, and Sports Illustrated...In 1997, she says, "I did really poorly in Athens at the Worlds. I was really gratified that I came back from that ego-blow and did well in the following meets."...I`m going to be bold, I want to jump 6-8"... She currently has a calendar project on the market with several other female track and field athletes, the project will raise funds for disadvantaged children.
