The producer Patrick Leonard didn`t tell me that he wanted me to record this piano and voice session, but the song is better sung in this way, like a rehearsal. Some part of me is also like this. While I was recording this album I learned that sometimes lyrics and emotion don`t have to be so perfect. I learned how to use a [more restrained approach] instead of screaming all the time."

"It was a concert where a lot of artists dedicated Christmas songs to the Pope. I sang John Lennon`s "Happy Christmas (War is Over)" to him. He received us the day before and we asked him questions. It`s impossible to find another person who has the same aura that he has. It`s emotional anytime you can ask a person as spiritual as he is to explain things that are big questions in your mind. You feel very proud to meet this kind of person, even if you don`t believe in the religion they are part of."
