She`s one of the hottest faces in modeling, but Maggie Rizer entered the fashion "biz" unintentionally.
"My mom actually sent some pictures to an agency when I went away to college. They called up the next day. I came down to New York, did some pictures and now here I am," Rizer explains.
That agency was powerhouse Elite, and Maggie Rizer has joined modeling`s creme de la creme. Working with some of the industry`s best, she`s been busy appearing on runways in Milan, Paris and New York.
"It`s an exciting thing, you`re always going. It`s like running around and you see all these people and wear all these beautiful gowns and outfits," she explains.
Born in Watertown, New York, Maggie nows lives in the New York City with fellow models, Karen Elson and Erin O`Connor. Maggie is used to having roommates. She`s one of five children and says that being part of a large family is great. She tries to see them as much as possible. However, being one of modeling`s hottest properties does keep Maggie on the go.
"I try to sleep at night or whenever. If I have 10 minutes free during a show, I go and sit in a corner and kind of just rest up a little bit. I try to chill out whenever I can," she says.
As for life outside of modeling, Maggie Rizer enjoys athletics. She used to play field hockey in school. She`s also an avid waterskier and horseback rider. For now, she`s just riding high on her career path, happy with how things are going.
